Every early summer in May, the wild forests of Taiwan will turn into white colour, like a layer of snow falling on the mountains. That’s Tung tree blooming splendidly, given a pretty name : the Snow of May. Clustered among the broad leaves, Tung flowers appear quite charming with five pale pink petals in dark red streaks, as well as its pleasant fragrance.
