Élan意为“激情”，出自著名的芬兰交响金属乐队Nightwish（夜愿）于今年三月发行的新专辑 Endless Forms Most Beautiful，是第三任女主唱 Floor Jasen（地板姐）与风笛演奏家 Troy Donockley正式加入乐队后参与的首张专辑，略为遗憾的是鼓手Jukka因长年的失眠症困扰不得不长期休养，于是由好友Kai Hahto暂代职位。
备受歌迷期待的新专辑秉承了Nightwish一贯的交响金属乐风，华丽恢宏，磅礴大气，然而“没有新意”“T郎才尽”的批评还是如雨点般落在创作才子 Tuomas（键盘手）的头上。嘛，能保持原有乐风就好，别搞得跟某些哥特仙音队似的，摇身一变，仙女变肥鹅，走向了俗里俗气的流行电子乐。此专辑中，Élan算是一首抒情之作，据说是受19世纪美国诗人沃尔特·惠特曼的诗歌启发，激励人们不惧人生起落，永远充满激情，不走寻常路，我就是我，不一样的焰火。MV发布后，引来一大波乐迷们的翻唱热潮（Youtube上已超过两百多个人声器乐版本），虽然岚女不太喜欢地板姐在该曲里的甜美唱腔，但那浓郁风尘味的造型妆容到底几个意思？？？造型师你出来，我们得谈谈，保证不打你……

大概是金属乐太耗脑力与体力，一燃起就停不下来。。 ;;)
顺便在网上查了下详细的中文词，有点回到大草原的气息，鼓励人不顾外界枷锁 做真实的自己，挺正能量的。旋律方面有歌剧的影子，可能是办公室耳机不行，没有过多的震撼感，回家再试试。 😀

哈哈，对于这种歌曲，我听听旋律就够了，歌词太复杂；最近在学唱《Hey Jude》，想唱给我心爱的姑娘听。 :))

英文歌表示听不懂，但视频感觉蛮有意思的。音乐无国界，旋律与声音，比较喜欢，要是太摇滚的话，估计我是听不下去的，一向比较喜欢民谣。
